“We had a very relaxing 2 weeks, during which we have been busy enjoying the wide range of possibilities for cycling, canoeing, walking, swimming, visiting beautiful villages, caves, markets .... We had everything we need in the gite - it is certainly the best equipped we have stayed in.All in all an excellent family holiday” Roger, Margeret, Lynn & Chris, Oxfordshire & London, 11/09/2004
“We have really enjoyed staying at Les Chardonnerets. The welcome was great & all those “little touches” like the welcome pack, the home grown produce plus the breakfast delivery service added to our enjoyment. Le Tournesol was very comfortable and homely, tastefully decorated, furnished & equipped. The pool is lovely and we all enjoyed using it as much as we could ... We think this gite will be difficult to beat or improve on - your high standards both inside & out, and the peaceful location made it a great success. Thank you” Chris, Linda, Matthew & Claudia - Chelmsford - 28/08/2004
“What a wonderful job you have all done here at Les Chardonnerets - it’s a credit to you all. When we get home we will start practicing boules so when we return we can do better ! The chicken catching was funny and had us amused for ages ! ... A great holiday !” Les, Phyl, Zara & Rachel - Telford - 21/08/2004

“What a delightful gite ... We felt really pampered ! We especially enjoyed the fresh cut flowers and the welcome platter ... St Jean de Cole is charming - we enjoyed the artisan’s studios and look out for Viki’s wonderful ‘tournesol’ (sunflower) honey - its super !” Martin & Marion - Perth - 16/07/2004
“Thank you all for an excellent 2 weeks ! The gite is brilliant and has everything we could have wished for. The pool is great and the wildlife around here is lovely- we have seen hedge hogs, deer, owls & lots of birds ... Would strongly recommend a trip to Rocamadour, Brantome, St Emilion, Bordeaux & Beynac. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable & we will be sure to tell everyone what a great place you have here - it really is head & shoulders above other gites we have stayed in.” Adam & Emily - Edinburgh - 09/07/2004
“The gite was one of the most comfortable we ahve stayed in & we have visited France many times in the past ... The decorative touches make it feel like home - even so far as the satellit TV (a must for the European cup !) Everyone was very helpful ... Many thanks for a lovely week.” Frankie & Davis - Deal - 19/06/2004
“We cannot praise our hosts enough for the effort that has been put in to make our gite as near to home as possible ... Many happy hours were spent around the pool or just sitting in the well kept grounds ... The walks around the area are a must and the wild flowers and bird life at this time of year are something not to be missed” Ted & Ann - St Albans - 12/06/2004
“What a wonderful setting ! We immediately felt relaxed when we arrived and now we don’t want to go home ... We have visited France on many occasions and this has been by far our best experience ... April / May is a great time to come here to avoid the crowds and get the best out of the region. Sunny but not too hot !” Sarah & Chris - Honley - 01/05/2004
