Les Chardonnerets is situated 4km to the north of the fortified market town of Thiviers, on the edge of a small hamlet called Callandrie.
Callandrie has just 5 other houses and is surrounded by fields and woodland which are home to deer and wild boar. The Perigord-Limousin National Park starts right on our doorstep.
Although located in beautiful rural countryside Les Chardonnerets is just 3km from the RN21 which runs from Limoges to Perigueux, making it an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Dordogne and Limousin.
By road - Les Chardonnerets is less than 8 hours drive from the northern ferry ports of Calais, Boulogne, Dieppe and St Malo. The most direct route is by motorway to Limoges and then on the RN21 to Thiviers.
